This story is not our own, though we are so proud to play a part in it.

It's a story, which has been told by a thousand voices before us, though often behind closed doors, and it spans more than 100 years. Each chapter, whilst unique is also tragically similar, telling the tales of the thousands of men and (more often) women of the TV and Film industry, who have made great personal sacrifice in order to bring the dreams of others to life on screen.

This is the story of an industry, which requires such unwavering commitment to its craft, that it has often demanded an excruciating choice be made, to be part of the film family, or to have a family of your own…

As the years have passed by, too many parents have felt the heartache of not putting their children to bed. Too many tears have been shed for families that never existed. And millions have missed out on the captivating stories that would have been told, shared and adored, were it not for the talents lost of those people who had to stay at home.

We say enough! It is time to make a change and to make a change to level the playing field. But you can’t talk equality without talking about childcare.

We have created ‘The WonderWorks’ to bring to life a solution to this problem which is flexible, affordable and which allows families to thrive and the industry to retain it's talented people.

In 2020 Warner Bros. became the first to pledge their support and helped us create our first full-time educational facility at their studios in Leavesden, UK.
We have created a place where mothers can breastfeed, children can lead their own learning journeys and pursue their first dreams - and all just a stone’s throw from set.

In 2021 we launched our first mobile childcare facility, which delivered outstanding childcare to a production shooting on location. We will continue to invest in and develop new products and services in order to support filmmaking of all budgets.

Our mission - to ensure that no person in the film industry will ever have to choose between their job or their family again!
