“I knew from when I first walked into the Wonder Works nursery that it was a special place for children, the attention to detail, the natural nurturing environment, the warm staff, it all felt like a home from home. The recruitment event was a great way to understand the unique practices and ethos of the nursery and now as an employee I can honestly say, it’s a special place to work. We get stuck in with everything and we have fun with the children, whilst approaching everything in a respectful and uplifting manor. I feel like I’m not going to work, but going to another home where I’m involved and valued and learning everyday along with the children.

The staff create a very special atmosphere at the nursery, and it’s such a fantastic place to work as everyone’s wellbeing is a priority and all the staff are appreciated. The children benefit so much from the approachable, hands on, and fun environment which follows the Hygge spirit to truly make a home away from home surrounding. It’s inspiring to see the creativity the children produce everyday using all the upcycled resources inside the nursery, and outside in the garden. Knowing that all the children are learning and developing is so rewarding. At the recruitment event we learnt about the mission statement, and it’s clear that everyone is onboard with this and I’m proud to go to work every day to carry on this special journey within childcare”

“Attending an open evening at the Wonder Works was the perfect way to get a feel for the nursery and meet the amazing team. They have welcomed me with open arms and I feel like part of the family already after just one month. I couldn’t imagine a nicer environment to work in or a better nursery for my little one.
